You Are Not Too Weak To Witness

There was a time I questioned whether God could use someone like me—someone still healing, still learning, still figuring out how to be consistent in prayer, still navigating emotions that didn’t always feel holy.

I thought weakness disqualified me.

I thought vulnerability made me less valuable.

I thought influence required perfection.

But then I remembered the moment my foster mom shared her testimony with me—a story filled with trauma, truth, and triumph. She didn’t come to impress me; she came to love me. And that love led me to Jesus.

Her weakness wasn’t a liability.

It was her witness.

Scripture reminds us:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Perfect.

In weakness.

Not in strength.

Not in polish.

Not in performance.

God’s power shines brightest through the cracks we try so hard to hide.

I’ve learned that being a safe place for others doesn’t require being flawless—it requires being faithful. People aren’t transformed because we are impressive; they’re transformed because God is present.

And He is present in your honesty.

He is present in your story.

He is present in the places you once felt ashamed to revisit.

Sis, hear me clearly:

You are not too weak to witness.

Your weakness is the witness.

It proves God carried you.

It reveals His kindness.

It invites others to believe that if He could do it for you…

He can do it for them.

Don’t hide your story.

Don’t shrink your testimony.

Don’t silence the places God has already healed.

Your life is evidence.

Your love is ministry.

Your vulnerability is a doorway to someone else’s freedom.

with love & grace
